The Mavericks came out of Monday with 13th home win of the season. The Mavericks are 21-12 and sitting in third place in the Western conference coming into the midpoint of the 2012 NBA season.
Boston was short handed as Rondo served his first of two game suspensions for throwing a ball at a referee.
Dirk surpassed Hall of Famer Robert Parish to become number twenty on the highest scoring players in NBA history. He also surpassed the 1,000 block threshold. Jason Kidd who is second all time for assists surpassed Michael Jordan to be second all time in steals.
No doubt the addition to the backcourt helped the Mavericks depth. The Dallas signage of Vince Carter over the very extended off season adds veteran leadership at the guard position.
Tomorrow Dallas faces the Lakers at home in the American Airlines Center.
The Dallas Sign company is proud of the defending NBA champions and in their veteran squad. The Mavericks are the oldest squad in the NBA and needed the first half of the season to get all the gears rolling. Now rolling into the AllStar weekend the Mavs can regroup and come out of the regular season as a force for any team to be reckoned with.
